‘It is imagination that saves us all from the obvious and the banal,
from the ordinary aspects of life.
Imagination transforms facts into conjecture.
Even a shadow cast onto the floor is not only a shadow: it is a mystery.
Try drawing one, and you will realize.’

-The Hundred Languages of Children
What inspires our vision

Creative Learning

We draw inspiration from Reggio Emilia where children are encouraged to explore their environment and express their understanding through multiple “languages”- Children experiment and develop competencies in using spoken language, drawing, painting, building, clay, and wire sculptures, shadow play, collage, imaginative play, music and writing, to name but a few. Reggio Emilia does not follow a prescribed ‘curriculum’, the teacher supports children to investigate their theories leading to long-term projects. The 'Atelierista' is a resident artist that supports children’s creativity and learning. They are also entitled to provide experiences and provocations for the children and to observe and document the learning process in detail.

Outdoor Learning

Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, but it also contributes to your physical well-being, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.
We are so lucky with our location which not only provides stunning nature but also has amazing inspiring projects already happening on site like beekeeping, foraging, reforestation, and land art among others. it’s a real honour to share the space and values "Connect to Protect", from Jose, the owner of Wild Heart Hill.

Learning Community

A place to create connections, beginning by respecting each individual, seen as unique and a whole, in its challenges and gifts, mind, body and soul, creating meaning of the world by interacting and dialoguing with the surroundings, like a mirror. Searching for understanding our part within the community and bringing awareness of the impact of our choices through simple daily actions can support our children in dealing with future challenges. A place where we all collaborate and we all learn.
We want to make the children’s voices visible and valued by sharing and supporting this vision with you.

‘Creativity seems to emerge from multiple experiences, coupled with a well supported development of personal resources, including a sense of freedom to venture beyond the known. Children construct knowledge and co-research with the teacher through collaboration and relationships with parents, environment and other students.’
-Loris Malaguzzi

'Education should achieve the harmonious development of child's body, mind, heart and soul'.
-Ghandi
